The North American 3 Hockey League will hold two separate Combat Hockey/North American 3 Hockey League (3HL) Showcases during the 2012-13 season, and both are expected to be two of the most prestigious and well-attended events of the entire 3HL season. Each 3HL Showcase will take place over a four-day span, in which all 17 3HL teams play four regular-season games. 3HL Showcases are attended by NCAA and ACHA scouts and coaches, as well as representatives from all 24 NAHL teams as they get a look at the high-level junior hockey talent that the 3HL has to offer.

The first 3HL Showcase will be held November 30-December 3, 2012 at the Schwan Super Rink. Located in the northern Minneapolis-St. Paul suburb of Blaine, Minnesota, the Schwan Super Rink is the largest ice arena of its kind in the world. The state-of-the-art facility, a $21 million project totaling over 300,000 square feet, features eight sheets of ice under one roof. With all its varied amenities and services, the Schwan Super Rink is absolutely unique in the world of ice sport facilities.

The second 3HL Showcase will be held from February 17-20, 2013 at the Troy Sports Center in Troy, Michigan. The Troy Sports Center features four sheets of ice under one roof and is perfect for the multi-layered events that the 3HL Showcase will be partnered with.

Both 3HL Showcases will also be played in will take place in conjunction with North American Prospects Hockey League (PHL) events, which are designed to maximize exposure for players in both leagues and expected to attract thousands of fans in overall attendance, including an anticipated 100 college and junior scouts.
